2027: Bayelsa APC confident of grassroots strength - Punch Newspapers

The All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State has expressed confidence in its grassroots structures across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying its membership and network remain strong enough to prosecute its campaigns. The state chairman of the party, Warman Weri Ogoriba, stated this in a statement on Saturday while reacting to recent political realignments ahead of the 2027 elections. Ogoriba said the APC had established structures across the eight local government areas and political wards, stressing that the party would focus on strengthening its organisation and mobilising voters ahead of the elections. His comments came amid the emergence of the “Rainbow Coalition” and a claim by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, that he had the political structures to deliver Rivers and Bayelsa states for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
