2027: Kwande stakeholders back Tinubu, Udende, for second term - The Guardian Nigeria News
THE All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Kwande local government area of Benue State , after a stakeholders conference endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende, and Honourable Terseer Ugbor ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The stakeholders also endorsed Honourable Tsavtim Silas as the party’s candidate for the Kwande East State Constituency.
The resolutions were contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a stakeholders’ meeting held on October 4, 2026, at the residence of Chief Terlumun Akputu in Adikpo, headquarters of Kwande Local Government Area.
The meeting brought together APC ward chairmen, party candidates, stakeholders, and other party officials from the 15 council wards that made up Kwande LGA.
The endorsement led by the APC Zonal Chairman for Benue North-East Senatorial District, Barrister Vincent Uji, the group passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and resolved to mobilise massive support for his re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
“Further reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and APC leader in Benue State and the North-Central, Senator George Akume, pledging to abide by his political direction and leadership.”
Expressing confidence in the leadership qualities of the candidates ,the stakeholders further passed a vote of confidence in their candidates.
For the Kwande East State Constituency, the stakeholders resolved to support the APC candidate, Hon. Tsavtim Silas, in the 2027 election, they However to resolved to await further directives and guidance from Senator George Akume.
They expressed optimism that the party would record a decisive victory across the 15 council wards of Kwande Local Government Area in the 2027 general elections. They called on party members and supporters to remain united, committed, and focused on strengthening the APC ahead of the elections.
The communique was signed by Chief Terlumun Akputu, Vincent Uji, Dr Bem Zoho,among several orher stakeholders and 10 party members each in the 15 council wards of Kwande Local Government Area.
