3 veteran guards the Steelers should target after disastrous start to 2026 season - Steelers Wire

Just as we feared, the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive line is by far the weakest link on the roster. Whether it's pass protection or run blocking, the Steelers' offense has struggled mightily over the past two weeks. But there are a few free agents the Steelers could target, particularly at offensive guard, to give the o-line a spark it so desperately needs.

From a veteran offensive lineman looking to close out his career on a high note to a former Steeler who may be interested in reuniting with the Steel City brand of football, here are three free agent guards Pittsburgh should target.

At 36 years old, Zeitler could give the Steelers some much-needed veteran presence. A former Pro Bowler who's played for the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cleveland Browns, suiting up for the Steelers feels like the right way to finish out his career for the AFC North veteran.

Becton would be an interesting option for the Steelers, especially when it comes to the offense's struggling rushing attack. A former first-round pick who found success in transitioning from offensive tackle to guard with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, Becton could give Pittsburgh a huge boost in the trenches.

A reunion with Daniels makes sense for both parties. Daniels was great for the Steelers from 2022 to 2024 before a season-ending Achilles tear cut short his final season with Pittsburgh. At just 29 years old, Daniels should have enough gas left in the tank for another solid season in 2026.
