Around ₹7 lakh in cash was stolen from an Axis Bank ATM at Satamrai in Shamshabad area of Hyderabad, Telangana, in the early hours of Tuesday (October 6, 2026).
According to the police, the burglary is suspected to have taken place between 3 a.m. and 3.30 a.m. Preliminary investigation suggests that two persons may have been involved in the crime. “The suspects sprayed paint on the ATM’s CCTV camera, apparently to prevent the incident from being captured.
