700 acres not in records: Telangana CM Revanth Reddy questions KCR farmhouse land

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has raised questions over land linked to former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse, claiming that nearly 700 acres are not reflected in official records.

Reddy directed the Revenue Department and the district Collector to issue a notice to Chandrashekar Rao and determine how much land he purchased and how much land is actually in his possession.

The Chief Minister also claimed that more than 430 acres are owned by the KCR family.CM ORDERS LAND RECORDS TO BE VERIFIED

According to Revanth Reddy, nearly 700 acres of the farmhouse area are not reflected in the records. He said KCR must clarify whether the entire 700 acres is under his possession.

“I am directing the Revenue Department and the Collector to immediately issue a notice to Chandrashekar Rao and ascertain how much land he purchased and how much land is actually available there,” Reddy said.

The Chief Minister further directed officials to identify 388 acres that he said belong to the government and take them back into government possession.388 ACRES TO BE GIVEN TO DALIT FAMILIES

Reddy said that once the 388 acres are recovered, the government will distribute the land as pattas to 800 Dalit families under the Dalit Bandhu programme.

He directed Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, Vivek Venkataswamy, the district in-charge minister and the Revenue Minister to resolve the matter within 30 days.
