The red carpet coverage will begin at 4.30 am IST, followed by the main awards ceremony at 5.30 am IST. The Emmys will stream live on JioHotstar in India. Viewers who miss the live broadcast will also be able to watch it on demand later.
The early-morning timing means Indian viewers will have to wake up early to catch the winners as they are announced. The red carpet will also feature celebrity arrivals, fashion moments, interviews and reactions from the nominees.Who is hosting the Emmys?
Mariska Hargitay will host this year's Primetime Emmy Awards. The actor is best known for playing Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, a role that has made her one of television's most recognisable faces.
Hargitay is also an Emmy winner. Her appointment as host comes as NBC marks its 100th anniversary.
The ceremony will feature several well-known presenters, including Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Jon Hamm, Amy Poehler, Sally Field, Keke Palmer, David Harbour, Macaulay Culkin, Dan Levy, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rachel Sennott.

The Pitt leads the nominations this year with 25 nods. It is followed by Hacks with 24, Widow's Bay with 19 and Apple's Pluribus with 18 nominations.
The Pitt is among the favourites in the Outstanding Drama Series category after winning four awards at the Creative Arts Emmys. It faces competition from shows including Pluribus, Slow Horses, The Testaments and The White Lotus.
The comedy categories are also expected to be closely contested. Hacks has picked up a record 24 nominations in the comedy field, while Widow's Bay has strengthened its position after winning eight awards at the Creative Arts Emmys.
There are also a few potential milestones to watch out for. Jean Smart could make Emmy history if she wins her fifth consecutive Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series award for Hacks.
