ABC Music Celebrates 13 ARIA Award Nominations - ABC News & Headlines – Australian Broadcasting Corporation

ABC Music is celebrating a strong showing in the 2026 ARIA Award nominations, with 13 nominations announced today as part of ARIA's landmark 40th anniversary year. Spanning seven categories and artists from across the country, this is a result that reflects the ABC's ongoing commitment to ensuring Australian stories, voices and music continue to be heard.

The nominations span country, blues & roots, children's music, classical, jazz, world music and engineering categories, highlighting the depth and diversity of Australian talent represented across the ABC Music Group.

This year's nominations come as the ARIA Awards celebrate four decades of championing Australian music, recognising both established icons and the next generation of artists shaping the country's musical future. It's a history the ABC has been part of from the beginning, from Play School sing-alongs and landmark classical recordings, through to contemporary Australian composers, jazz, country and emerging artists.

ABC Music congratulates all nominees and looks forward to celebrating with the Australian music industry when the winners are announced at the 2026 ARIA Awards on Wednesday 18 November.
