After Hanuman Ansh's success, Sony TV announces new Neem Karoli Baba series
After the grand success of Hanuman Ansh, Neem Karoli Baba’s mystical tales are heading to television. Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV have announced a new mytho-fiction series inspired by the revered saint’s life, teachings and the extraordinary experiences associated with him.
The first promo keeps things deliberately mysterious. There’s no cast or storyline reveal yet, but a voiceover hints at a world filled with mystical tales linked to Neem Karoli Baba. His trademark shawl appears in the visuals, along with a reference to Lord Hanuman, offering the first glimpse of the spiritual world the series plans to explore.
SonyLIV shared the promo on social media with the caption, “Coming soon on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.”
The makers haven’t revealed the cast, episode structure or premiere date yet. For now, the promo is more of a mood-setter, introducing the saint and the mystical stories surrounding his life rather than giving away the plot.

Hanuman Ansh released on August 7 and went on to become an unexpected box office success. The film didn’t arrive as a conventional blockbuster, but its collections continued to grow as word of mouth brought more audiences to theatres.
Made on a reported budget of around Rs 1.8 crore, Dr Vishal Chaturvedi’s film has crossed Rs 400 crore worldwide. According to trade website Sacnilk, the film crossed Rs 300 crore nett in India on its 52nd day. Its India gross stood at Rs 362.70 crore, while its overseas gross had crossed Rs 38 crore. As of Day 54, its total collection stands at Rs 408 crore globally.
Directed by Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life.
