Alexandra “Alex” Eala has secured the third seed in the Singapore Tennis Open, emerging as the tournament’s third-highest-ranked player based on the WTA list released Friday.

Eala, currently ranked No. 18 in the world, will be joined by top players such as world No. 5 Mirra Andreeva, No. 11 Amanda Anisimova, No. 19 Elise Mertens, and No. 26 Maja Chwalinska.
Other players set to compete in Singapore include Donna Vekic, Barbora Krejcikova, Janice Tjen, and Alycia Parks.
The Singapore Open, a WTA 500 event, will mark the start of Eala’s Asian swing.
