Alleged drug mule nabbed at OR Tambo Airport - EWN
Police have arrested another alleged drug mule at OR Tambo International Airport, seizing cocaine worth more than R800,000.
The 45-year-old suspect was intercepted on Monday after intelligence-led information alerted police to his movements.
He was travelling to Hong Kong when police searched his luggage and found about two kilograms of suspected cocaine.
The arrest comes just four days after another alleged drug mule was arrested at the same airport, also bound for Hong Kong with cocaine concealed in his luggage.
Police Spokesperson Amanda Van Wyk said that the latest suspect will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrates Court this week on drug-related charges.
