Allotment letters for affordable flats in Hyderabad from Sept 21; Foundation stone for tower over 2.85 acre land in Raidurg

Telangana Housing Board would start sending allotment letters to beneficiaries of affordable flats at the government’s Indiramma Housing Towers in Hyderabad (CURE) from Monday (September 21, 2026). The letters would be sent to their registered mobile number and WhatsApp account. Besides, the document would be made available on the Housing Board’s website (https://tghb.telangana.gov.in/) as well, according to a press release issued on Sunday. 

The government held draw of lots to select beneficiaries of 7,340 flats in 16 Assembly constituencies, and selected people in waiting lists too. Field-level verification was held to verify eligibility criteria of the beneficiaries.

Another key event would be held on Monday (September 21, 2026); Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy would lay the foundation stone for construction of the housing towers in Raidurg, Serilingampally Assembly constituency. The site is located behind Malkam Cheruvu, with an extent of 2.85 acres of land belonging to the Board. 

Each of the flats would have a plinth area of 528 sft and carpet area of 480 sft. While the government provides a subsidy of ₹5 lakh, each of the beneficiaries should contribute ₹6 lakh in four installments. The government would bear the cost of the land. Earlier, officials said that the allotment letters would have details of the installments, account to transfer the amount and other details.

Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TGIIC) recently sold lands in Raidurg at record prices. While 5.25 acres was sold for ₹264 per acre, a 5.38 acre was sold at ₹269 crore per acre in August this year. Citing the prices as indicative market benchmarks, the Board said that the 2.85 acre land to be utilised for the Indiramma Housing Tower in Raidurg would be valued between ₹752 crore and ₹767 crore. A flat in the locality costs around ₹50 lakh. 

The Board’s Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham has invited beneficiaries of the houses in Serilingampally to participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
