The Amaravati Regional Summit, being organised ahead of the 31st CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, will be held in Vijayawada on October 16, NTR district Collector G. Lakshmisha said.
The regional summit will bring together stakeholders from eight districts to showcase local industrial potential, investment opportunities and resources. The Collector said the event would help create a favourable investment climate ahead of the main summit and provide opportunities for entrepreneurs, MSMEs and local industries.
At a virtual preparatory meeting on Tuesday (September 22, 2026), officials from the eight districts reviewed arrangements and discussed investment promotion, industrial development, MSME participation, strengthening local industries and industry-academia linkages.
Mr. Lakshmisha said the regional meetings would help identify area-specific industrial strengths, promote balanced regional development, attract investments and connect MSMEs with investors. The government would facilitate land requirements and provide support under its industrial policies, and would encourage emerging sectors such as Industry 4.0, deep technology and start-ups.
He urged entrepreneurs to participate actively and make the Amaravati summit a platform for securing investments and signing a large number of memorandums of understanding (MoUs). Officials from NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Prakasam, Markapuram, Eluru, Bapatla and Krishna districts participated in the preparatory meeting.
The 31st CII Partnership Summit is being organised in line with the Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra@2047 economic goals.
