The pledge is contained in the plans for the inaugural South-West Youth Diaspora Dialogue and Development Forum, scheduled to hold virtually on October 24, 2026.
The 90-minute virtual town hall, themed, “Connecting Nigerians Abroad for a Stronger Nigeria: From Questions to Practical Actions,” is aimed at creating a structured platform for Nigerians living abroad to discuss practical ways of contributing their knowledge, professional expertise and skills to development initiatives in Nigeria.
The initiative is being convened by Barr. Adesuyi Daramola, Esq., APC South-West Youth Leader, while Amb. Jesugbamigbe Daniel Fadipe, Coordinator, Diaspora Engagement, Office of the APC South-West Youth Leader, is coordinating the programme.

They added that the forum is open to Nigerians irrespective of political or professional affiliation, with emphasis on constructive engagement and practical contributions to Nigeria’s development.
According to the organisers, the October 24 virtual engagement will enable Nigerians in the diaspora to exchange ideas and professional knowledge while exploring structured areas of collaboration that could support development efforts in Nigeria.
Registration is currently open to interested participants through the official registration link.
