Bangsamoro Federalist Party leads partial, unofficial BARMM poll results
MANILA, Philippines — The Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) and United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) are leading the partial and unofficial list of winners in the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) as of 3:51 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15.
Based on Commission on Elections (Comelec) data, election returns are at 98.58% as of 4:00 p.m, with 5,138 election results received and 74 remaining pending.
Thirteen registered political parties are vying for seats as regional parliamentary party representatives (RPPP).
At least 2.5% of the total valid votes are needed by each party to qualify for the 40 seats that will be distributed proportionally based on vote shares.
According to Comelec, around 80% of registered voters participated in the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Monday, September 14, despite reports of violence.
As of 3:51 p.m., the partial and unofficial count transmitted to the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) showed the following results:
Winners for the regional government, including regional political parties and sectoral organizations, will be proclaimed on Tuesday evening.
