Barry has emerged as the first finalist of BBNaija Season 11 after winning the week eight Head of House challenge.

Following his victory, Barry secured a spot in the finale and was also granted the power to influence the eviction process for the week.

As part of his privileges as Head of House, Barry chose Keivo as his Loft Mate.

The development came after Barry and Keivo battled it out in the final stage of the Head of House challenge, with Barry eventually emerging victorious.

Barry also exercised his veto power by saving Aikou from possible eviction after Big Brother asked the housemates to pitch why they deserved to remain in the competition ahead of next week’s eviction.

Aikou’s pitch convinced Barry to use his power to save him, giving the housemate another opportunity to remain in the competition.

Barry’s victory has therefore given him multiple advantages, including automatic qualification for the finale, the Head of House title, a Loft Mate of his choice and the power to influence the eviction process.

The week eight development comes as the remaining housemates continue their battle for a place in the final and the ultimate prize.

With Barry already assured of a place in the finale, attention will now shift to the other housemates as they fight to secure their own spots in the final weeks of the reality show.
