Big 12 football power rankings after Oklahoma State's historic win - Buffaloes Wire
Week 2 of the 2026 college football season wrapped up late Saturday evening, with the Big 12 playing a major part in the weekend's storylines.
Oklahoma State highlighted the weekend with an impressive offensive performance against a top-10 Oregon squad, one of the slate's biggest upsets. BYU and Arizona traded blows before the Cougars pulled away late, while Utah, Houston, Kansas State, West Virginia, Colorado, Cincinnati, TCU, and Baylor all dominated their opponents.
UCF could only muster seven points against Pittsburgh, and Iowa State could find a way to beat heated rival Iowa. Texas Tech was tested again but took down Oregon State. Arizona State struggled against a good Texas A&M team, as did Kansas against border rival Missouri.
How does all the action change our first in-season power rankings of the Big 12 Conference? Here is an updated look at the Big 12 picture after Week 2.
