"Big Brother" summer is almost over, and one of the three remaining houseguests is about to become $750,000 richer.
In the Thursday, Sept. 24, episode of "Big Brother" Season 28, one of the final four houseguests fell short of making finale night.
The season has largely been dominated by "Survivor" icons Dee Valledares and Rick Devens, who have managed to avoid the block the entire first half of the game and escape eviction in the second half.
Yet, after they both failed to win the head of household and power of veto competitions, the power duo's survival in the game became impossible. Drew had been repeatedly loyal to both of them since day 2 but had to cast the sole vote to evict one of them.
Here's what to know about Thursday's episode and the final three.
Taylor Brown won her first head of household competition when it mattered most. She correctly solved the vampire-themed puzzle race.
She initially nominated Dee and Devens, though "Big Brother" fans know the final four nominations don't really matter.
Drew Campbell won the final power of veto competition, a time-travel themed memory game, allowing him to remove himself from the block.
On top of securing his spot in the final three alongside Taylor, he ensured that a "Survivor" icon would be eliminated, and that who goes would be up to him.
Dee was evicted at the final four with Drew casting the sole vote.
Her elimination ends her triumphant run, which included two HOH wins and two previously survived votes on the block. She falls short of being the first person to win "Big Brother" and "Survivor," having previously won Season 45 of the other CBS reality competition series in 2023.
The final three of "Big Brother 28" includes Rick Devens, Drew Campell and Taylor Brown.
The "Big Brother" Season 28 finale airs on CBS Thursday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, when one of the final three houseguests will win $750,000.
The finale will stream on Paramount+ for Premium subscribers. Paramount+ Essential subscribers can watch the episode on Friday, Oct. 2.
