BMW PGA Championship field is loaded with PGA Tour stars, major champions - Golfweek

The PGA Tour is back in action this week at the Biltmore Championship after a two-week break. But how about the lead-in?

The 2026 BMW PGA Championship, being played at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England, on the same dates, Sept. 17-20, has a loaded field, with major champions, ex-LIV golfers, 2026 PGA Tour winners and more.

In fact, the BMW PGA has the 2026 Masters champ, the 2026 PGA Championship winner and the 2026 Open Championship winner.

This will be required viewing for golf fans and a nice 1-2 second-screen combo in between all the football.

The field will be 144 golfers. Some of the notables include:

Noren is back to defend. Other recent past winners playing include Fox (2023), Lowry (2022) and Hatton (2020).

Golf Channel will have live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. ET - 1 p.m. ET and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. et - 12:30 p.m. ET.
