Grammy-winning artiste Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has taken delivery of a customised Bugatti Chiron VXX, a one-of-a-kind hypercar created by Dubai-based luxury car customisation shop Venuum. The vehicle, reportedly valued at about ₦9 billion, was unveiled in a ceremony captured on video and shared by Venuum on its Instagram page on Saturday. The video shows two presenters removing a black protective cover from the vehicle, with Burna in attendance. The custom Bugatti features a striking French Racing Blue front fascia, an iconic horseshoe grille bearing a bold yellow number 7, and a centre racing stripe in French tri-colour livery. The company described the project as the world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron and said it was being built as a one-of-one project for the singer. The reported ₦9 billion valuation has also been cited by Abuja Car, the dealership involved in the vehicle’s sale, although the exact purchase price has not been independently confirmed. Burna Boy had earlier teased his desire for a “Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something one of one.” The Chiron VXX becomes the latest addition to Burna Boy’s collection of exotic cars, which already includes a Lamborghini Revuelto and a Rolls-Royce Spectre. According to a listing on Bugatti’s website, the basic price of the standard 2020 Bugatti Chiron is US$2.998m (about N3.99bn), including shipping, duties, taxes and charges. Bugatti Chiron VXX is significantly more expensive than 2020 Chiron.
