Carlos Yulo on 'losartan warriors,' bashers: 'I don't really care' - GMA Network

Carlos Yulo said he is at a point in his life where the outside noise doesn’t really bother him.

On Monday’s episode of “Unang Hirit,” the two-time Asian Games gold medalist was asked about his reaction to “losartan warriors,” or those who constantly bash him on social media.

“Personally, I have no reaction,” Carlos said in Filipino. “I don’t really care what other people say."

“The important thing is my own opinion of myself, and right now, my chosen family’s perspective about me,” he added.

According to the Filipino gymnast, he does not have a problem with his critics because he chooses not to listen to them.

“For me, I know where I stand. I know the truth, I know what I’m doing, and I know myself better than other people do,” he said.

“The only thing I probably don’t like is when it happens to other people, because sometimes the things they do can also be disrespectful,” he added.

On Sunday, Carlos, his girlfriend Chloe San Jose, and his brother Eldrew, came home to a surprise homecoming salubong from his “chosen family” after his Asian Games triumph.

Carlos made history at the 2026 Asian Games by winning the Philippines' first two gold medals in gymnastics, in vault and floor exercise.
