CASACOR SC promotes film session curated by FAM

The Gastrocine at CASACOR Santa Catarina , an environment designed by architect Cris Passing, was designed to welcome lovers of the seventh art. Due to its functionality and concept, the Santa Catarina show prepared, in partnership with FAM (Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul), a film festival, which will take place tomorrow (20), starting at 8 pm.

Three works from the acclaimed Festival were selected for the opening session of the project: "Do que te lembras Maria?", by filmmaker Mara Salla; "Rosinha", by director Gui Campos, starring actress Maria Alice Vergueiro; and "Luto", a film winner of the 1st Floripa University Rally, during FAM 2017.

Anyone wishing to participate can simply purchase a ticket to the screening at the event box office or online . Spaces are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. See below a brief overview of the films that will be shown:

What do you remember Maria? - Drama from Santa Catarina directed by Mara Salla, brings the perception of three different women - Maria, Adélia and Josefina -, about a strange phenomenon in the sky.

Rosinha - Nominated for the 2017 Oscar, the film by Brasilia-born director Gui Campos presents the nuances of love in old age. Starring veteran Maria Alice Vergueiro, the film won international awards, including the top honor at the Huesca Festival in Spain.

Mourning - Conceived during the 1st Floripa University Rally - FAM 2017, the film was made in just 100 hours, in a film production marathon with the participation of communication students from Mercosur. The film is a portrait of the population's lethargy in the face of the evils of administration in the country.
