Complete List of National Holidays 2027 Along with Joint Leave Schedule

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The government has announced the schedule for national holidays and joint leave days for 2027.

This determination is based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB) Number 1205 of 2026, Number 3 of 2026, and Number 2 of 2026 concerning National Holidays and Joint Leave for the year 2027.

“The dates for 1 Ramadan 1448 Hijri, Eid al-Fitr 1448 Hijri, and Eid al-Adha 1448 Hijri are set by the Minister of Religious Affairs,” the decree states, cited on Tuesday (15/9/2026).

The Joint Decree, signed by the three ministers, serves as a guideline for government and private institutions in implementing national holidays and joint leave for 2027.

According to the decree, there will be a total of 18 national holidays and 8 joint leave days.

Within the same decree, work units that provide direct public services are instructed to manage employee assignments during national holidays and joint leave days in 2027 in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

These services include hospitals, community health centers, telecommunications, electricity, drinking water services, firefighting, security and public order, banking, transportation, and other similar organizations or companies.

“The implementation of joint leave as referred to reduces the annual leave entitlement of employees in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the provisions applicable to each work unit/organization/institution/company,” the decree states.

Furthermore, the decree requires that joint leave for civil servants (ASN) be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

Meanwhile, the implementation of joint leave for private institutions/agencies is regulated by their respective leaders.

“This joint decision is effective as of the date of enactment,” the decree concludes.
