Cops probing death of man linked to the murder of Tembisa woman - EWN

Police are investigating the death of a man linked to the murder of 23-year-old Boitumelo Mashita in Thembisa.

The man, who was Mashita’s estranged husband, was found dead inside his vehicle in Midrand, after police identified him as a person of interest and began tracing him.

Mashita was shot dead while on her way to work on Monday morning in what police have said was an alleged robbery.

Mashita’s family had earlier questioned whether the killing was a robbery, with her uncle saying they were following their own leads about a disagreement between Mashita and her partner.
