Country stars Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore fuel romance buzz with covert awards show exit
Ella Langley’s love life just got a lot less mysterious.
Langley and fellow country music star Tucker Wetmore tried to keep their reported romance under wraps, but a low-key side-door exit appeared to blow their cover. Langley and Wetmore were spotted leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards together on Tuesday.
"Tucker was hiding out backstage waiting for Ella to finish at the award presentation," an insider told The Sun. "They snuck out of the venue together."
Their undercover exit didn’t go unnoticed — it was caught on camera.

Multiple sources later confirmed to People magazine that the two are dating, nearly a year after they first sparked romance rumors.
Fox News Digital reached out to reps for Langley and Wetmore for comment.
Langley and Wetmore first raised eyebrows after they were photographed spending time together in the British Virgin Islands in December 2025, giving fans an early reason to wonder whether their connection extended beyond their shared country music circles.
The speculation continued into 2026 as the two were seen together again, including at a March charity event where Langley joined Wetmore for a performance of his song "Sunburn."
Their increasingly frequent appearances together only added to the chatter surrounding the two rising country stars.

Reports indicate that Langley and Wetmore met through mutual friends and connections within the music industry, putting them in many of the same Nashville circles as their careers took off.
Langley went from an Alabama singer-songwriter chasing a Nashville dream to one of country music’s biggest crossover stars.
Her song "If You Have To" gained traction on TikTok, and she made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023. Her career took another major step forward with her 2024 debut album, "Hungover." Langley's collaboration with Riley Green on "You Look Like You Love Me" further propelled the singer into the spotlight. The duet topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and earned Musical Event of the Year honors at the 2024 CMA Awards.
She released her second album in 2026, "Dandelion."

The breakout single "Choosin’ Texas" became a historic crossover hit. The song — which Langley co-wrote with Miranda Lambert, Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor — has spent 23 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new record for the longest-running No. 1 in the chart’s history.
Meanwhile, sports dominated much of Wetmore's early life. He attended Montana Technological University and played college football while studying business and information technology.
After an injury effectively put an end to his hopes of a professional football career, Wetmore chose to pursue his passion for music – something he'd loved doing since childhood. His first major releases, "Wine Into Whiskey" and "Wind Up Missin’ You," both landed on the Billboard Hot 100 and were eventually certified platinum.
He released his debut album, "What Not To," in April 2025. That same year, he was nominated for ACM's new male artist of the year as well as iHeartRadio Music's best new country artist.
While both stars found success in the spotlight, they kept their love lives decidedly more private.

Langley has kept her cards close to her chest when it comes to dating. The "Be Her" singer was briefly linked to "Farmer Wants a Wife" star John Sansone in late 2025. Sansone later confirmed the two "dated for a couple of months" during an interview with "Taste of Country."
Langley was previously at the center of romance speculation with Green, her duet partner, after their chemistry on the song "You Look Like You Love Me" sparked fan theories that they were more than collaborators. Both singers repeatedly shut down the rumors, with Langley saying in 2024 that they were just good friends.
Wetmore also had a public relationship before being linked to Langley.
Wetmore dated social media star Bryana Ferringer for over a year. Ferringer famously starred in the country music singer's music video for his hit song, "Wind Up Missin' You."
