The Communist Party of India (CPI) will organise a protest in Ernakulam district against the alleged undeclared power cut causing hardships to the people of the State, on Sunday (September 13, 2026) and Monday (September 14, 2026), said party district secretary N. Arun.
The frequent power outage has taken a toll on households, trade, small-scale industries, and students’ academics. The prolonged power disruption during nights in soaring temperature makes life nightmarish for people, Mr. Arun said.
