A road-rage incident outside a metro station in north-west Delhi has gone viral after a woman was filmed vandalising an auto-rickshaw during a heated confrontation with its driver. The video also captured her claiming that no action would be taken against her because she was “from staff”.

The incident took place outside Haiderpur Badli Mor Metro Station. The video was shared on Instagram by a Rapido driver named Vishal, who was passing the spot when he noticed the commotion.

The clip began with the woman standing in front of the auto-rickshaw and trying to damage its headlight. She tried to hit it repeatedly but failed to break it. Then she turned her attention to the vehicle’s wiper and bent it while continuing to argue with the driver.

The situation soon became more heated as the woman was heard hurling abuse at the auto driver. At one point, she was also heard saying that no action would be taken against her as she was “from staff”.

Vishal continued recording the incident from a distance. Towards the end of the video, he also showed the registration number of the car in which the woman had arrived.

The video has since circulated widely on social media, with users questioning the woman’s behaviour and calling for action over the damage to the auto-rickshaw.

Several people also tagged the official Delhi Police handle while sharing the clip. However, at the time of publishing, it was unclear whether a police complaint had been filed or if any action had been taken in connection with the incident.

The video has also left users debating how disputes on the road can quickly escalate into vandalism and verbal abuse. - EndsPublished By: Srimoyee ChowdhuryPublished On: Sep 20, 2026 10:08 IST
