Kalyan Bainsla, the man accused of chasing and hitting a woman biker with his car in Gurugram, has denied deliberately ramming into her motorcycle, saying he was unaware that a woman was riding the bike.

In an exclusive talk with India Today TV, Bainsla said the incident took place on Sunday morning when he was travelling with his cousin. He claimed two bikers repeatedly overtook him from the side, moved ahead of his car and then slowed down. "I did not hit them intentionally," Bainsla said, adding that he was sorry the woman was injured.

Bainsla's comments come after videos of the incident, recorded on cameras mounted on the bikers' motorcycles, went viral on social media. The woman has alleged that the occupants of the car followed her and that the driver was driving aggressively before the car rammed her motorcycle.- EndsPublished By: Sonali VermaPublished On: Sep 14, 2026 17:21 IST
