Dismissed Crime Intelligence deputy Feroz Khan's evidence will begin in-camera on Monday - EWN
Dismissed Crime Intelligence deputy Feroz Khan is expected to submit his statements to the Madlanga Commission on Saturday.
Khan is accused of allowing corruption into the South African Police Service (SAPS).
The commission ruled that certain parts of his evidence will be led in private.
They'll begin in-camera hearings on Monday.
The application for Khan's private hearing was submitted by evidence leaders, who feared the revelations may impact ongoing investigations.
The evidence, including messages, was first led in a private hearing in July.
Now only designated officials may be present when Khan responds on Wednesday.
He is expected to testify remotely to accommodate his medical needs, including regular breaks.
He's also facing a contempt charge for missing his recent scheduled hearing.
