Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed Rs 50 crore in domestic advance bookings, with a few hours still left before its first shows begin. Trade estimates are pointing to a Rs 50 crore-plus nett opening for the film in India, and the current pre-sales response has kept it firmly on that track.

The film, billed as the third and final instalment of the Hindi franchise, is shaping up to record one of the biggest Hindi openings of 2026. It is on course for the second-biggest opening for a Hindi film this year, behind only Dhurandhar 2, and ahead of titles such as Mirzapur: The Movie and Border 2.

As per figures updated by trade website Sacnilk at 10 pm on October 1, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion had sold Rs 51.44 crore in advance bookings across six show dates, or Rs 41.17 crore without block seats. Day 1, Friday, October 2, leads the run with Rs 28.11 crore.

Earlier in the day, the film had recorded Rs 19.75 crore in advance sales for Friday by 10 am, with more than 5.35 lakh tickets sold across over 12,000 shows. The three-day weekend total had then stood at Rs 36.25 crore gross, including block seats, according to Sacnilk.

For Day 1, Maharashtra is the top state with Rs 8.58 crore, accounting for 31 per cent of the gross. It is followed by Delhi at Rs 6.10 crore and Gujarat at Rs 2.08 crore. The top 10 states together contribute 88 per cent of the gross.

The National Capital Region is the top city for Day 1 with Rs 6.10 crore, or 22 per cent of the gross. Mumbai follows with Rs 5.07 crore and Pune with Rs 2.14 crore. The top 10 cities account for 66 per cent of the gross.Show occupancy and more

Evening shows are filling the fastest for Day 1, running at 26 per cent occupancy across 2,920 shows. Night shows are the slowest at 20 per cent occupancy across 4,871 shows.

Of the 14,734 shows listed for Day 1, 34 are sold out and 184 are almost full, while 82 per cent still have more than half their seats available.

Hindi 2D is driving almost the entire business, contributing 99 per cent of the Day 1 gross, or Rs 27.79 crore, from 14,667 shows. Premium formats including IMAX, 4DX, Dolby, ICE and EPIQ account for 1 per cent of the gross from under 1 per cent of the shows.

Across all six days on sale, the film has sold 15.38 lakh tickets across 44,615 shows. Day 1 alone accounts for 55 per cent of the total advance booking run.

The momentum is not limited to India. The film has already crossed Rs 3 crore in overseas pre-sales for its opening day, while weekend advance sales overseas have gone past Rs 5 crore. Combined worldwide pre-sales are now on track to reach Rs 50 crore before release.

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion brings Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat and Mrunal Jadhav in the cast. It is directed by Abhishek Pathak.- EndsALSO READ | Free pav bhaji for Drishyam 3 viewers on October 2. Here's how you can get yours
