Euromatch NPFL: Promoted Doma Stay Top of Log - THISDAYLIVE

Despite losing 4-1 at Kano Pillars, promoted Doma United remain top of the NPFL standings, while Enyimba, Sporting Lagos and Kun Khalifat all fell at home today.

Doma remain top of the table on nine points from four matches.

The home win by home team Kano Pillars shot them to third place with seven point and a game in hand.

The second Kano team, Barau FC, are second on the table after a heroic goalless draw at Ikorodu City.

It was far from a great weekend for three home teams – Enyimba, Sporting Lagos and Kun Khalifat, though.

Visiting Inter Lagos recorded their first victory of the new season when they upset hosts Enyimba by the odd goal.

Record 10-time champions Enyimba are rock bottom after they lost their third straight game of the campaign.

Abia Warriors also won on the road when they stopped Sporting Lagos 2-0 in Lagos and hosts Kun Khalifat lost 4-2 to defending champions Enugu Rangers.

Abia Warriors are 10th on the table with five points from four matches, while Rangers are fifth on seven points from three games.
