Tonight, the Pittsburgh Steelers fly into Cleveland to take on the Browns. This is another AFC North battle, and if history tells us anything, we can expect another tightly contested matchup. Let’s take a look at the history of the matchups between these two teams.

The Steelers and Browns have played each other 149 times, including three playoff games. The series has mostly been dominated by Pittsburgh. They’ve won 83 of the matchups, and there has been 1 tie. Being that the two are in the same division, they do play each other more often, typically twice per year.

Last year, the Steelers and Browns played each other twice, splitting the series. Both times the home team won the game. In October, the Browns lost 23-9 when the game was played in Pittsburgh. In December, the Browns got some revenge as they won 13-6.

Neither of these games were exactly high scoring. In fact, in the past 10 matchups, the average score between the two teams combined to 35.9 points per game. Neither team has scored more than 29 points in a game in any of the past ten matchups.

Will history repeat itself and have a low-scoring, tight affair, won by the home team? You can make the call at Fanatics Sportsbook using promo code FOXNEWS350 to earn $350 in bonus bets with a $20 wager.
