Eyewitnesses reported that a fire had broken out in an area near King Khalid International Airport. The eyewitnesses, who reported seeing smoke rising from the area, said the cause of the fire was unknown.

Saudi Arabian authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding the fire or its cause. The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen had accused Saudi Arabia of sending drones to Sana’a and threatened to retaliate.
