Former Speaker of Parliament Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has dismissed the notion that she could have influenced the awarding of a tender to the woman accusing her of corruption.
Mapisa-Nqakula was under cross-examination in the Pretoria High Court, where she’s facing corruption charges.
She’s been questioned on her relationship with defence force contractor Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu, who is accusing her of soliciting R4.5 million in corrupt payments.
