MANILA, Philippines β September 14 marks a historic day for the Bangsamoro people as they hold their first regional parliamentary elections.Β
After the inauguration of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in 2019, its people are finally electing members of their own parliament. For seven years, the President appointed the members of the Bangsamoro Parliament, which has since gone through three terms.
