But hormonal changes can also affect the brain and mental health. When these changes start in your 30s or 40s, they can easily be mistaken for stress, anxiety or depression. So, how much of what we're feeling could be driven by our hormones?

That's the focus of Hormone Health is Mental Health by Dr Fatima Khan, a women's health doctor and menopause specialist, who joined Philip Clark on Nightlife.
