The roll-out marks another step forward in the Chinese tech giantβs push to overcome stringent US export curbs, which has seen Huawei rewire its smartphone business to run on home-grown technology.
The new handset β the first to integrate mobile processors adopting the LogicFolding architecture based on Huaweiβs Tau Scaling Law chip design principle β is on track to surpass 1 million in total sales, and Huawei plans to launch the phone in markets across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and potentially Europe, according to Yu.
