A common pass for Hyderabad Metro Rail and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) services would be launched on Friday (October 2, 2026).
This comes nearly a month after the Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju issued directions to introduce a joint travel pass for the Metro Rail and the Corporation’s bus services at the earliest.
Officials were asked to make arrangements to issue the passes for seamless travel across the two modes of public transport. It would be launched by the State government in collaboration with the Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd and TGSRTC. Chief guest of the programme, to be held at Praja Bhavan in the city, would be Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
