The man in charge of turning around South Africa’s troubled State Information Technology Agency (SITA) says to give him two years.

SITA managing director Magatho Mello took over in April after years of governance and administrative problems.

SITA provides key IT services to several State departments.

Speaking to 702’s Bongani Bingwa, Mello said he inherited an organisation where around 60% of the executive committee was serving in acting positions.
