IN PICS: Joy of Jazz delivers weekend of unforgettable performances - EWN

The 2026 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz delivered more than just world-class music, but also vulnerable moments and energetic performances that kept audiences on their feet for most of the festival.

On 25 and 26 September, the Sandton Convention Centre was teeming with thousands of stylish attendees, all gathered to celebrate jazz music.

Each of the four stages, Mbira, Dinaledi, Diphala and Conga, felt like a sold-out concert, with festival-goers at times standing all the way to the entrance of the stages.

The sheer number of people in attendance made moving between the different stages a bit challenging. But once you reached your intended destination, it was nothing short of bliss.
