IND vs SL Live: Onus on Kishan, Shreyas after Sooryavanshi departs
Hello and welcome to the semi-finals of men's cricket at the Asian Games. India are playing Sri Lanka in the second semi-finals of the competition.
Sanju Samson has lost his wicket right after Abhishek Sharma, and India only have 24 runs on the board.
This one was a good set-up. Sri Lankan spinner Tharindu Ratnayake is able to spin the ball away from around the wicket against Samson. So much so that Samson is beaten on the outside edge.
The very next ball is a slider that keeps low. Samson plays for the turn and bounce and ends up losing his wicket as the ball keeps low and crashes onto his stumps.Β
Wicket in the second over itself. Abhishek Sharma, trying to hit a six over the bowler's head, ends up edging the ball against off spinner - captain Sahan Aracchige.
He tries to go for a big heave in the second ball of the 2nd over and departs after hitting a single six.
