Inter Lagos secured their first Nigeria Premier Football League win on Saturday after edging nine-time champions Enyimba 1-0 at the Enyimba Stadium, further deepening the crisis surrounding the Aba club, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. Ezekiel Moses scored the lone goal in the 18th minute, rising to meet a pinpoint cross with a header that gave the visitors all three points. The result was a third defeat in as many games for Enyimba, who remained without a point at the start of the 2026/27 season amid continuing problems on and off the pitch. Back in Lagos at the Onikan Stadium, Sporting Lagos were humbled at home by a late 2-0 defeat to Abia Warriors. Abdullahi Musa opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Rabiu Ali doubled the hosts’ advantage 13 minutes later. Defending champions Rangers also recorded their second win of the season, beating Kun Khalifat 4-2 away from home. Temitope Folarin put Rangers ahead in the 27th minute before Preye Seikorowei equalised for the hosts in the 40th minute. Waheed Adebayo restored Rangers’ lead four minutes later, while Chimobi Igwilo extended their advantage in the 66th minute. Ayuba Umar reduced the deficit in the 84th minute, but Igwilo completed his brace in the 90th minute to seal the victory for the champions. Elsewhere, Wolves edged Kwara United 1-0, with Ejike Ezekiel scoring the only goal of the game in the eighth minute. Plateau United came from a goal down to beat Shooting Stars 3-1 in Jos. Taheer Abubakar gave Shooting Stars the lead in the 15th minute, but Jibrin Ibrahim equalised five minutes after the restart. Seiyefa Jackson then put Plateau United ahead in the 71st minute before Gideon Monday completed the comeback 15 minutes later. Nasarawa United and Rivers United shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Rivers United took the lead through an own goal by Harrison Ebah in the 66th minute, but Musa Yakubu rescued a point for Nasarawa United by converting an 84th-minute penalty.
