ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao - GMA Network
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) to expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
As of 2 a.m., there are no Low Pressure Areas (LPA) that are being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation.
Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ as flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is light to moderate with variable movement while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
