IV of Spades, SB19, Dionela top Awit Awards 2026
MANILA, Philippines — R&B singer Dionela led all winners at the 2026 Awit Awards while rock band IV of Spades took home the evening's top prizes.
The 39th Awit Awards was held last September 15, Tuesday, at the Mall of Asia Arena organized by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).
IV of Spades won Album of the Year for its comeback release "Andalucia," while its lead single "Aura" was honored as Song of the Year. Another track, "Monster," won Best Sound Engineer Recording.
Dionela's four awards — Best Collaboration, Best R&B Recording, Best Rap/Hiphop Recording, and Best Vocal Arrangement — were for his song "Ikigai" with Loonie.
Tying IV of Spades with three awards were the P-pop Kings SB19 with their hit track "Dungka" winning Best Pop Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and Best Music Video.
One of the boy band's members Pablo, whose real name is John Paulo Nase, was also honored as Songwriter of the Year for his work in the musical duo Radkidz.
Ben&Ben won Best Performance by a Group and Best Musical Arrangement for "Saranggola," while Janine Berdin won Best Performance by a Solo Artist and Best Ballad Recording for "What If I Miss You for the Rest of My Life."
The other top prizes went to Fitterkarma's "Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo II" (Record of the Year), Brian Lotho (Producer of the Year), and Nicole (Best New Artist).
