Jean Silva paid no mind to Aljamain Sterling's callout after his UFC Fight Night 288 main event win.

Just moments after Silva (18-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) scored a third-round submission of Jose Delgado (12-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) on Saturday at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz., fellow featherweight contender Sterling jumped on the opportunity to request a showdown with "Lord."

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sterling (26-5 MMA, 18-5 UFC) has won three of four since moving up to 145 pounds and is coming off a headliner victory of his own against Youssef Zalal in April. Now he wants Silva, and even attached the date of UFC 334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

After the fight Silva, who has back-to-back wins over Delgado and Arnold Allen since his knockout loss to Diego Lopes in the 2025 Noche UFC headliner, was asked about Sterling's callout and a potential meeting between the two.

Silva quickly dismissed the idea, and made it clear his sole focus is on facing the winner of the UFC 333 title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev on Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi.

"As we like to say in Brazil: Talk me up, talk me down or talk sh*t. But talk about me," Silva told reporters through an interpreter at the UFC Fight Night 288 post-fight news conference. "Go ahead. Next question."
