KSRTC announces Hyderabad, Lakshadweep travel packages

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced its luxury tour packages to Lakshadweep and Hyderabad.
Organised by the KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell, two packages have been arranged for travellers in Hyderabad- one covering three days and two nights, and another spanning two days and one night. The packages include accommodation, meals, and entry fees for tourist attractions in Hyderabad.
The three-day, two-night package includes visits to Nehru Zoological Park, Birla Mandir, NTR Garden, the Ambedkar Statue, Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar, Ramoji Film City, Hitech City, Golconda Fort, Salar Jung Museum, Chowmahalla Palace, Mecca Masjid, and Charminar. The second package, spanning two days and one night, covers Golconda Fort, Salar Jung Museum, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar, Birla Mandir, and Ramoji Film City.
The itinerary is scheduled to begin at 3. p.m. on the first day and conclude with the return journey at 10 a.m. on the fourth day. Accommodation will be provided on a triple-sharing basis (three persons per room). Travellers are required to personally bear any fees for storing mobile phones, bags, or footwear at various locations visited.
This Lakshadweep travel package begins with a flight from Kochi and includes visits to the Agatti and Kalpitti islands. Spanning three nights and four days, the trip is designed to fit within a commoner’s travel budget. Travellers can also choose between homestay and resort accommodation options.
The package covers the Lakshadweep entry permit, airport transfers, twin-sharing accommodation, meals, Wi-Fi, and insurance. In addition to enjoying the beaches and sunsets at Agatti, a special boat trip to Kalpitti Island is included. Activities such as snorkeling, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking, and opportunities to spot dolphins and sea turtles are also part of the itinerary. Those wishing to experience scuba diving or parasailing must pay an additional fee of ₹4,000 and ₹3,500, respectively. Travellers who prefer vegetarian meals should inform the organisers at the time of booking.
To secure a seat, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking, said the KSRTC in a statement here on Wednesday. Full airfare applies to children over the age of two. As weather conditions can suddenly affect travel plans, travellers must strictly adhere to safety instructions issued by officials. The official launch of the luxury tour packages will be done by Transport Minister C.P.John on September 22. The Minister will also present mementos and awards to the 10 travellers selected for the inaugural Lakshadweep trip. With the introduction of the new software, passengers will be able to book tickets online. Another new feature being introduced is a waiting list system for KSRTC ticket reservations, similar to that of Indian Railways
