Re: "Sondhi returns to street demos", (BP, Sept 8).

Sondhi Limthongkul is protesting at the Israeli embassy to demand the deportation of troublesome Israeli visitors. But the decision to deport them is for our justice system to make, not Israel's, and the embassy has not interfered in the matter.

In fact, the ambassador has called on Israelis to obey our laws. So what's Sondhi in a froth about? Is he making a tempest in a teapot, as Shakespeare would put it?

Sondhi should move his protest to Government House and focus on matters of greater national importance, such as keeping Toyota from moving its assembly plant to Indonesia.
