LPA outside PAR becomes tropical depression - GMA Network
The low pressure area being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has developed into a tropical depression, PAGASA said in its 4 a.m. weather bulletin.
The cyclone is located 3,315 kilometers east of Central Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving west southwestward at 10 km/h.
For Wednesday's weather, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring scattered rains over parts of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
The same weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
