Maa Nava Puranam, authored by Meegada Ramalinga Swamy, was released at a programme organised by the Lok Nayak Foundation at the Andhra University Hindi Department’s conference hall on Monday.
Presiding over the programme, writer Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said the book had been written in verse in a manner that would be useful and accessible to the youth.
Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Parthasarathi congratulated the author. Chief guest Bethavolu Ramabrahmam, a renowned author, said that Mr. Swamy had written 333 verses covering student, marriage and old-age stages of life.
Telugu Department head J. Apparao inaugurated the programme, while Hindi Department head N. Satyanarayana proposed the vote of thanks. Faculty members and students of the Telugu and Hindi departments participated.
