The Madlanga Commission ordered that evidence linked to Mpumalanga taxi boss Bafana Sindane be heard on Monday. 

The commission dismissed Sindane's postponement application on Friday.

Sindane sought to halt the commission from using his WhatsApp messages as evidence.

Sindane's messages with taxi industry tycoon Joe Sibanyoni are expected to come under scrutiny.

The pair allegedly discussed hitmen which Sibanyoni defended during his hearing.

"It is also essential to understand that people in the taxi ranks colloquially refer to protectors in the taxi ranks as izinkabi."

Sindane is also expected to discuss his apparent relations with alleged cartel members and police officers including suspended Sergeant Fannie Nkosi.

He's yet to file a statement on the allegations which were first put to him in August.

Meanwhile, dismissed general Feroz Khan was due to testify on Monday but evidence leaders have requested a private hearing with his legal team due to ongoing sensitive investigations.
