Man urinates in train, passengers slap him and make him clean it. Railways reacts

A man’s decision to urinate inside a packed train coach resulted in a dramatic confrontation after furious passengers slapped him and forced him to clean up the mess. A video of the incident went viral on social media, prompting the Indian Railways to respond.

The video posted on X showed the man getting up and urinating inside the coach as passengers nearby were heard objecting to his actions and asking him to use the train's toilet instead.

The confrontation intensified quite quickly soon after. As the man argued with those questioning him, other passengers intervened. The clip showed a fellow passenger even pointing out that women and children were present in the coach. But the man kept on arguing and saying that he was not bothered by what he did.

As the video went on, one passenger, tired of the man’s audacity, slapped him and held his collar. Several other passengers joined as others unanimously suggested that the man should wipe his own mess, and they made sure to do that.

The footage, however, does not establish when or on which train the incident took place.

Railway Seva responded to the post and asked the person who shared the video to provide more information, including details that could help identify the journey.

“Please share complete details related to the incident, such as train number, (PNR number), mobile number, and date and time. Based on the information you provide, the matter will be investigated, and necessary action will be taken,” they replied.

The episode has thoroughly shocked social media users and also brought passenger conduct inside packed coaches into focus.
